Recruitment
· Under the lead of HR Manager, manage the full cycle of recruitment for both non-academic and academic positions – responding to all speculative applications and agencies as appropriate and passing CV’s on for further consideration.
· Assist the hiring manager in the production of job descriptions and identifying key competencies for each role.
· Liaise with agencies and organise the advertising of roles internally and externally as appropriate.
· Screen CVs and complete first stage interviews for professional and support staff as required.
· Conduct relevant employment checks on all locally hired employees and prepare job offers and contracts to the successful candidates.
· Schedule interviews as required and log teachers’ recruitment and applicant activity.
· Maintain effective recruitment trackers and analysis of all recruitment activities.
· Ensure that all recruitment administration is completed in a timely manner in conjunction with team members.
Visa & work permit
· Keep updated on all government rules and regulations regarding expatriate staff's legal stay in China.
· Maintain regular and good working relations with relevant bureaus and visa/work permit authorities working closely with government affairs team.
· New staff visa application documents preparation (including work permit letter application, invitation letter application etc.)
· Current staff and staff's dependents visa renewal.
· Staff visa transfer when doing the passport renewal.
· Staff's new dependents registration and the visa application.
· Temporary police registration application for staff living on site.
· CRB check related procedures for expat staff.
· Business visa application for VIP guests.
· Student visa application for student who is over 18 years old.
· Liaison with Finance department with all the payment issue regarding to the visa issue.
Foreign Affairs Support
· Arrange the accommodation, pick-up service, hotel reservation and answer the questions for all relevant pre-arrival issues.
· Support with inquiry and Induction Package preparation for new entrant staff. Arrange the physical examination at Health Centre.
· Assist new arrival staff to apply the bank account for salary of new staff; collect and maintain the allowance documents for further check. Guide the staff with documents preparation for transfer money.
· Maintaining the HR online database specifically foreign affairs related and providing data statistics, and report to higher authorities.
Other HR Support
· Provide other support assigned by line manager.
· Back up on other HR matters.
· Back up on other administration matters when necessary.
