Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run university between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the first legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. With a spirit of pioneering innovation, HKUST(GZ) charts new territories in cross-disciplinary education and explores new frontiers in pedagogies, aiming to serve as a role model of the mainland-Hong Kong integrated educational development and become a world-famous high-level university, endeavoring to nurture future-oriented, high-level and innovative talents.
In response to the increasingly complex challenges faced by the rapidly changing world, HKUST(GZ) adopts a brand-new and cross-disciplinary academic structure featuring “Hub” and “Thrust” to substitute the conventional one characterized by “school” and “department”, facilitating cross-disciplinary integration while vigorously developing emerging and frontier disciplines. This is a groundbreaking move in the higher education community across the globe.
HKUST(GZ) comprises four Hubs, namely Function Hub, Information Hub, Systems Hub, Society Hub and 16 thrusts. The admission of undergraduate students began in 2023, with the first batch of programs covering artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology and smart manufacturing engineering.
Duties
1. Oversee the daily operations of the Campus Service Department to ensure efficient and orderly delivery of university commercial services, catering services, official vehicle services, and other related services.
2. Develop and implement campus commercial development plans, manage investment attractions and operation of university commercial venues, continuously improve the quality of commercial services, ensure commercial service safety, and enhance satisfaction among faculty and students.
3. Manage catering services for university events and the university kindergarten, supervise the quality and safety of catering services, and ensure high standards of catering service delivery.
4. Oversee the management of university official vehicles, establish vehicle policies to improve vehicle utilization efficiency and service quality.
5. Manage the Campus Service Department team and personnel development, continuously enhancing the team's service capabilities.
6. Regularly analyze service data and feedback, execute improvement measures, and develop a strategy for sustainable operations.
7. Promptly address emergencies and major complaints while refining emergency response mechanisms.
8. Execute ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior leadership.
1. 全面負(fù)責(zé)校園服務(wù)處的日常管理工作,確保大學(xué)商業(yè)服務(wù)、餐飲服務(wù)、公務(wù)用車(chē)等各項(xiàng)服務(wù)高效、有序進(jìn)行;
2. 制定并實(shí)施校園商業(yè)發(fā)展規(guī)劃,負(fù)責(zé)大學(xué)商業(yè)場(chǎng)所的招商引資及運(yùn)營(yíng)管理,不斷提升商業(yè)服務(wù)質(zhì)量,確保商業(yè)服務(wù)安全,持續(xù)提升師生對(duì)商業(yè)服務(wù)的滿(mǎn)意度;
3. 負(fù)責(zé)大學(xué)各類(lèi)活動(dòng)的餐飲服務(wù)、大學(xué)幼兒園餐飲供應(yīng),監(jiān)督餐飲服務(wù)質(zhì)量及安全,確保餐飲服務(wù)質(zhì)量;
4. 負(fù)責(zé)大學(xué)公務(wù)用車(chē)管理,制定商務(wù)用車(chē)管理制度,提升車(chē)輛使用效率和服務(wù)水平;
5. 負(fù)責(zé)校園服務(wù)處團(tuán)隊(duì)管理及人員培養(yǎng),不斷提升團(tuán)隊(duì)服務(wù)水平;
6. 定期分析校園服務(wù)的各項(xiàng)數(shù)據(jù)和反饋,落實(shí)改進(jìn)措施,并制定可持續(xù)運(yùn)營(yíng)策略;
7. 及時(shí)妥善處理突發(fā)事件和重大投訴,完善應(yīng)急預(yù)案機(jī)制;
8. 完成領(lǐng)導(dǎo)交辦的其他工作。
Qualification Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above, with more than 10 years of related work experience including over 5 years in managerial roles, preferably in university/large-scale corporate logistics management settings.
2. Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills with proven success in driving cross-functional teams toward measurable goals.
3. In-depth familiarity with workflows across key domains: commercial services, catering services, and official vehicle operations, etc.
4. Excellent communication and co-ordination skills, problem solving skills and emergency handling skills.
5. Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English. Proficiency in Cantonese is preferred.

2. 具備優(yōu)秀的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力和團(tuán)隊(duì)管理經(jīng)驗(yàn),能夠帶領(lǐng)團(tuán)隊(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)目標(biāo);
3. 熟悉商業(yè)服務(wù)管理、餐飲服務(wù)管理及公務(wù)車(chē)管理等各項(xiàng)業(yè)務(wù)流程;
4. 具備優(yōu)秀的溝通協(xié)調(diào)能力、問(wèn)題解決能力和應(yīng)急處理能力;
5. 具備良好的中英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)及寫(xiě)作能力,掌握粵語(yǔ)者優(yōu)先。
This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
