Responsibilities:
? Team Leadership and Development:
Build, motivate, and mentor a team of Technical Sales Specialists, ensuring they have the skills and resources to succeed. Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
? Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive technical sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration. Align with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
? Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
Lead your team in engaging with key clients, understanding their technical needs, and providing tailored solutions. Build strong relationships with IT managers and decision-makers to position our solutions effectively.
? Technical Expertise and Support:
Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing in-depth knowledge of our products and services. Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the team’s technical capabilities.
? Performance Management:
Set clear goals and KPIs for your team, ensuring they meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
? Market and Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements. Provide insights to the sales team and channel partners to help position our solutions effectively in the market.
? Operational Excellence:
Drive operational efficiency by streamlining sales processes and ensuring accurate reporting. Monitor key metrics such as response rates, conversion rates, and pipeline velocity to optimize performance.
? Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement. Maintain strong communication with senior management to align on strategic goals.
Compentencies:
? Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
? 5+ years of experience in technical pre - sales or a related field, with a strong focus on cloud computing, SaaS solutions, or open-source software.
? 3+ years of team management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.
? Excellent command of both English and Mandarin languages to manage Mainland China B2B business; ability to converse in Cantonese dialect will be an added advantage.
? Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to coach team to successfully drive sales over phone, email, video and modern demonstration tools.
? Great leadership skills with the ability to enable high performers to deliver and motivate under-performers to improve.
? Agility to manage ambiguous and complex situations, while maintaining a good rapport with customers.
? Experience, background and confidence to initiate and drive business strategy discussions with C-level executives and business decision makers around industry drivers and workloads.
? Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
? General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual systems, processes, products and services quickly and accurately. Passion for cloud technologies and changing the world.
? Works well in a diverse team and enjoys a dynamic and changing environment.
? Proven ability to identify and address complex customer needs, providing innovative solutions. Strategic mindset with a focus on long-term growth and market expansion.
? Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite applications, Windows OS, 4+ years of experience using a CRM tool (Dynamics, SalesForce or other) is required
