Position Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Division: Administration

Supervisor: Digital Marketing Coordinator


Position Summary:

To be a pivotal role in enhancing our digital marketing initiatives. Working closely with other Admission, Communication and other school divisions, you will contribute to the development, execution, and tracking of digital marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Marketing or a related field.


EXPERIENCE

? 3+ years of B2C marketing experience with 2+ years focused on digital marketing.

? Previous experience planning and managing social media accounts, website, paid campaign, and CRM.

? Work experience in a digital agency or marketing department is a plus.


SKILLS

? Familiar with website CMS (Content Management System) tools like Finalsite and website optimization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics, Adobe, etc.).

? Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, trend identification, and continuous optimization.

? Interested in technology and advanced in Microsoft Office Suites.

? Exceptional communication and writing skills in near-native English and native Mandarin.

? International mindset, demonstrating sensitivity to cross-cultural differences and enthusiasm for collaboration with diverse teams.

? Great attention to detail, excellent project management skills and the ability to balance several initiatives simultaneously.

? Ability to independently solve issues and handle queries, coupled with effective teamwork.

? Up to date on the latest marketing trends, with a willingness to propose and explore new ideas.

? A fast learner, curious, driven to try new things and take on challenges.

? Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for driving success in a dynamic and growing team.


GENERAL EXPECTATION:

? Good command of Chinese writing, fluent in English.

? Familiarity with Concordia International School Shanghai and its mission.

? Familiarity with the U.S. educational system.

? Familiarity with Google Analytics, Salesforce, Finalsite and Hubspot.

? Excellent writing skills

? Strong analytical skills

? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

? International experience preferred


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General

? Monitor competitors, marketing trends, and continuously seek ways to improve digital channels and content.

? Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to determine the overall digital marketing strategy.

? Manage the overall digital presence to promote services, culture, capabilities, technology, and more.

? Constantly seek ways to encourage deeper colleague involvement.

? Support other marketing initiatives as needed and constantly seek ways to improve and increase the marketing department’s influence and awareness.


Website Management

? Develop, maintain, and improve Concordia website to make the website function properly and keep the content correct and most updated

? Support Admission and other school divisions to build campaign/event webpage and create specific functions on the website

? Conduct quarterly website performance reports using Google Analytics and Baidu Tongji, sharing insights with the marketing team.


Paid Advertising

? Lead and execute Paid Search Ads campaign (SEM) on Baidu and Google

? Collaborate with admission, HR or other school divisions to develop impactful Ads, including creating landing pages, crafting compelling ad copies, conducting keyword research, and implementing continuous optimization strategies.

? Regularly analyze and report on the performance of paid advertising initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

? Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in paid advertising, implementing innovative approaches to maximize results.

? Work closely with vendors or agencies to enhance the performance and effectiveness of paid campaigns.


SEO

? Understand market dynamic, in-depth knowledge of Google and Baidu search engine algorithms, trends, and standard processes and familiar with relevant SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics, etc.

? Conduct effective on-page SEO audit including keyword mapping, content optimization for SEO purposes, meta tags, URLs, and other on-page elements to improve keyword rankings and overall search engine visibility.

? Develop SEO critical metric and keep tracking website performance Conductor, and Baidu related tools and provide regular reports.

? Work closely with vendors or agencies to enhance the performance and effectiveness of SEO


Social Content Strategy Optimization

? Support Communication team to optimize Social Channels (WeChat XHS, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) performance by actively monitoring, exploring, and implementing best practices and new trends; whilst ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on these platforms.

? Set up content KPIs, e.g. followership, engagement, in academic year and keep tracking the performance vs. target.

? Generate monthly and quarterly reports and analysis, use findings to improve content and strategies, and share the insight with the marketing team.

? Other duties as assigned.
