Haulmax is hiring a business development representative in the greater LA area. You will be doing outreach to companies who can take advantage of our logistics services which deliver much better rates than they are currently getting from UPS/USPS/Fedex. We sell shipping services where businesses are able to save lots of money. Our target customers are e-commerce companies and logistics companies (third party logistics).
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and reaching out to potential clients in industries requiring logistics services.
Building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients.
Understanding client needs and recommending suitable logistics solutions.
Coordinating with internal teams to develop proposals and pricing structures.
Meeting sales targets and reporting on outreach metrics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: 1+ years in sales, business development, or a logistics-related field.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
Knowledge: Understanding of the logistics industry or willingness to learn quickly.
