Key Responsibilities: 61Work independently with China customers to minimize sort costs and production disruptions. 61Act as single point of contact from customer facilities back to suppling GKN plants. 61Translate and facilitate virtual meetings. 61Track and monitor sort/rework activities and communicate back to supplying facility. 61Detailed reporting to supplying GKN facilities as to what activities are being conducted pertaining to the supplied parts. 61Act as a liaison between GKN, customer, and any 3rd party subcontractor (e.g., sort/rework company). 61Independently act as GKN engineering representative on customer visits. 61Other duties, as assigned. Formal Qualifications Required: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field or 8-year combined education and experience preferably in Quality, Engineering, Supplier Quality, etc. Soft Skills and Other Competencies: 61Skill in using statistical analysis techniques. 61Skill in operating equipment, such as personal computer and office equipment. 61Proficiency in oral and written communication in both English and Chinese/Mandarin languages. 61Skill in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power point. 61Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with customers and GKN staff in a professional and courteous manner. 61Ability to organize multiple projects and establish priorities. 61Ability to train others through demonstrations, written, and oral communications.
