Job Summary:
The Bilingual Accounting Team Leader will oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient financial reporting, compliance, and effective team collaboration. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English & Mandarin and a strong background in accounting practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of accounting staff to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient workflow.

  • Coordinate and supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations and company policies.

  • Provide training and mentorship to accounting staff.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit requirements.

  • Translate financial documents and ensure clear communication between multilingual team members.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.

  • Proven experience in accounting roles with at least 3-5 years of leadership experience.

  • Fluent in English & Mandarin (both written and spoken).

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations locally and internationally.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
