1. Utilizing the company’s in-house ERP system (GTS & ECC) and on-line document systems to determine the HTS codes, ECCN and country of origin information based on predetermined steps.
2. Contacting suppliers, customers or other third parties for product information and business relationships. Maintaining documentation (emails, letters, files etc.) in support of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and other authorities record keeping requirements.
3. Coordinating with trade compliance, sourcing, suppliers, freight forwarders, shippers and receivers to ensure all shipments are following import / export compliance regulations and procedures.
4. Performing research valuation analysis, corrective action planning, and responding to any third-party inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: bachelor
2. Trade Major preferable
3. At least 3 years experiences in U.S. and International HTS Code classification.
4. Fluent in English (written & verbal).
5. The ability to understand blueprints / drawings and specifications (technical knowledge is not a prerequisite)
6. Good search skills for the products information
7. Candidate will need to possess strong organizational, analytical and motivational skills along with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, performance-based environment.
8. Experience in international trade, import / export regulations, Export Administration and International Traffic in Arms, dual use regulations.
9. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite.
10. Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
