01. Take product power electronics design responsibility from R&D after mass production
02. Do relevant design change (power electronics related functions) to improve the product quality/robustness/reliability based input from failure analysis and other quality project
03. Do relevant design change (power electronics related functions) to optimize the cost of the product
04. Product adaption design (power electronics related functions) based on released products
05. Be responsible for engineering verification of resourced components (power electronics related functions) for cost or supply chain flexibility purpose
06. Analyze field failures for critical quality problem and customer complaint handling
07. Support frequency converter production test with technical failure analysis and problem solving to reduce the CoPQ and improve the FPY
08. Support EMS PCBA production test with technical failure analysis and problem solving
09. Support sales/AMS/product manager on customers' technical queries
10. Participate in continuous product quality improvement project
11. Participate in continuous product cost optimization project
12. Collaborate with global functional teams to solve technical issues
13. Follow global product design tools, IATF16949 processes

01. Bachelor degree (or above) major in in electrical engineering or related
02. Minimum 2 years of design experience in power electronics
03. Well understand the design of power sections of a frequency converter (IGBT, gate drive, DC-link, SMPS, sensing, coils and HF/LF governance)
04. Be capable of making design change and engineering verification of above power functions
05. Knowledge of motors
06. Knowledge of safety, EMC standards
07. Knowledge of simulation program e.g. Pspice, Matlab
08. Knowledge in product design process
09. Advanced engineering skills of analysis and problem solving
10. Good communication skills, self-motivated
11. Good in reading and writing English technical documents
